WE’RE HIRING A TOURING STAGE MANAGER!
NLP are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Touring Stage Manager to accompany a UK tour with the country’s leading Forensic Pathologist, Dr Richard Shepherd.

Production Dates: Monday 22 September – Sunday 2 November 2025
Closing Date: Saturday 6 September 2025
The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience in theatre touring, ideally working with high-profile television or industry professionals and celebrities. However, we are also open to applications from those with proven experience in other areas of theatre touring.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth delivery of nightly touring shows to the highest standard.
- Support get-ins, fit-ups, and get-outs at each venue.
- Provide artist liaison throughout the tour.
Facilitate post-show book signings. - Act as book seller pre-show, during the interval, and post-performance.
- Coordinate and oversee all technical aspects of the tour, maintaining clear communication with the NLP production office.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Touring Stage Manager or in a similar role.
- Confident in light lifting and handling duties.
- Full driving licence and experience driving tour vehicles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and to tight schedules.
- Willingness to work unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong teamworking skills – you will be part of a two-person tour crew, with all production resources carried in a single tour van.
Contract & Fee
- Fee: £850.00 per week
- Per Diems: £25.00 per day
- Accommodation: Suitable hotel accommodation provided for the duration of the tour
