NLP Ltd are interested to hear from experienced and enthusiastic Touring Stage Manager & Merchandise Lead, who are keen to accompany a theatre tour with Dr Louise Newson

Rehearsals: Tuesday 7th April – Mon 13th April 2026
Fee: £850.00 per week +£25.00 PD’s per playing and travel day – suitable hotel accommodation provided for the duration of the tour

The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience in theatre touring with well-known industry professionals and celebrities, however we will consider those who have experience in other areas of theatre touring sector. Key duties and responsibilities will include the successful delivery of nightly touring shows, to the highest possible standard. To be responsible to provide effective management of all merchandise stock during and touring period, effectively support the Technical Tour Lead with the touring schedule and transportation. Maintain daily dialogue with the NLP Ltd Finance Manager with all matters pertaining to merchandise including stock levels, daily reports. To undertake some artist liaison/pastoral support duties as required. The Touring Stage Manager & Merchandise Lead will have experienced in running get-ins, fit ups, and get-outs, liaising with resident house crews and FOH Teams. The Touring Stage Manager & Merchandise Lead will have good communication and management skills.
This exciting and rewarding role requires some light lifting and handling experience, experience of driving tour vehicles is essential, excellent verbal and written communication skills, willingness to work unsociable hours and for the individual to be able to work calmly and effectively under pressure. The Touring Stage Manager & Merchandise Lead will be part of a two-person tour crew. All production resources will be carried on one long wheelbase van.
